Instagram Automation with AI-Powered Intent Detection

We have introduced comprehensive Instagram automation capabilities, bringing intelligent comment and DM automation to ZEPIC. Users can now connect their Instagram Business accounts and automate engagement across posts, reels, stories, and direct messages.

Quick Automations with Intent Matching

The standout capability is AI-powered intent detection. When users comment on posts or reels, Zenie AI analyzes the message and detects intent—whether it's a pricing inquiry, buying interest, sales enquiry, or custom intents users define. Based on detected intent, automations execute the appropriate next steps. Users can also set up automations triggered by specific keywords or any comment.

Quick Automations support multiple follow-up actions that can be enabled simultaneously:

  • Reply to comments automatically to acknowledge interest

  • Send personalized intro DMs to move conversations private

  • Ask users to follow the account to stay connected

  • Collect email addresses or phone numbers to grow customer lists

  • Send product links or share complete product details with images, prices, and descriptions directly in DMs

  • For Shopify users, product information can be fetched automatically

Users can pause and resume quick automations as needed, with automated reply limits configurable to stay compliant with Meta's messaging policies.

Instagram Settings & Configuration

Instagram integration includes four key settings areas accessible from Admin Settings. General Settings allow connecting up to 5 Instagram Business accounts with simple authorization. Conversation Starters enable setting up suggested quick-reply messages based on user's language when someone opens a DM. Persistent Menu creates always-visible quick-access options for viewing products, getting help, or checking order status, available in 20+ languages. Opt-in Settings configure keyword-based subscription management, allowing users to opt out with keywords like "stop" or "unsubscribe" and opt back in with keywords like "start."

Content Management

A new Instagram section in the left nav bar displays all posts, reels, and stories synced from connected accounts. Users can sync the latest content and manage automations directly from each post, providing centralized control over all Instagram engagement activities.

Team Inbox for Instagram

Instagram DMs are fully integrated into Team Inbox alongside WhatsApp conversations. When users send Instagram DMs, conversation cards are automatically created with complete feature parity to WhatsApp: conversation tags, ability to send posts and reels, upload videos and images, and use Zenie AI to help craft replies. Auto-replies and conversation reminders work across both Instagram and WhatsApp. Filters allow users to view Instagram conversations separately or alongside other channels.

Instagram Triggers and Actions in Flows

Three new Instagram trigger blocks have been added to Flows: when a user sends a DM, when a user comments on a post or reel, and when a user replies to a story. These triggers enable sophisticated multi-channel automation workflows. Three corresponding action blocks are available: send Instagram message, collect user details (email or phone number), and reply to comment. Users can now build complex flows that combine Instagram engagement with email and WhatsApp follow-ups based on user behavior.
